Contact lens plunger
There are 2 types of plunger : without hole & with hole
Plunger without hole
- Can be used for taking off any rigid lenses : OK Lens, RGP lens, Scleral lens, Semi hard lens, etc.
- Can be used to insert soft lens, but unable to remove soft lens.
Plunger with hole
- Usually be used for inserting and taking off : Scleral lens , Hybrid lens
- Can also be used to insert small rigid lenses(OK lens, RGP lens, Semi hard lens), but more difficult to use compare with “without hole plunger”
- To suck lens : wet suction head –> squeeze stick –> place suction head on the lens (closed to lens edge) –> release squeeze force –> pull out
- To insert lens : wet suction head –> soft squeeze stick –> place suction head on the lens center –> release squeeze force and hold stick –> place lens on cornea –> hard squeeze to release lens –> pull plunger out(lens stick on cornea)
Knowing about your plunger
- First of all the plunger should be wetted by dipping suction head in saline or any contact lens solution that can be used directly with your eye. Dry suction head will have no suction force. (Do not forget to make the lens move before removing from the eyes).
- Keep it dry after use.
- Keeping plunger in damp may cause moldy. (Color change / black or yellow spots on plunger).
- Do not use the moldy or damaged plunger.
- The plunger that has not been used. Should be store in a cool dry place (fridge salad drawer).
- Change new plunger at least every year.

The price of plunger without hole is 300 baht and 400 baht for a plunger with hole.
– We are able to deliver postal service (EMS 50 baht) or take by motorcycle/taxi/van, etc. The costumer must pay the shipping/transportation cost.
